Her volleyball journey began in fourth grade, playing at her church and continuing through her years at Walled Lake Western High School. During this time, she competed with various clubs, including Legacy, Legends, and High Street, where she developed her skills and passion for the game. She was recruited as a defensive specialist to play at Kalamazoo College, where she had the privilege of wearing the libero jersey for three seasons and serving as team captain from her sophomore through senior year. She achieved personal milestones such as surpassing 1,000 career digs and earning recognition on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll all four years. She concluded her collegiate career with 1,040 digs, 183 assists, and 72 aces. She will be graduating from Kalamazoo College in June 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and English and plans to pursue her Master’s in School Counseling in the fall. Her experiences as both a student-athlete and leader have shaped her coaching philosophy, which emphasizes building a positive and supportive environment where athletes are encouraged to challenge themselves, develop strong relationships, and grow both on and off the court. She believes that fostering a competitive and united team culture will not only lead to success this season but will also prepare players for future achievements.
